Risk Disclosure Statement
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Tradesera provides simulated futures challenge services using a learn-by-doing model. Simulated environments may reduce certain live-market exposures, but they do not eliminate material trading, operational, or decision-making risks.
1. CFTC Rule 4.41 Disclosure
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have limitations. Unlike actual trading records, simulated results do not represent real executions. Simulated results may under or over compensate for market factors such as liquidity, slippage, and order priority. Simulated models may also benefit from hindsight. No representation is made that any account will achieve profits or losses similar to simulated outcomes.
2. No Sponsorship or Investment Advice
Content provided by Tradesera is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not investment advice, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Testimonials or performance examples are not guarantees of future results.
3. Emotional and Psychological Risk
Simulated trading does not fully replicate live-money pressure. In simulation, users may take risks they would not take in live trading, or may underreact to risk. Performance in simulation may differ materially from behavior and outcomes in live markets.
4. Technology and Platform Risk
Services depend on software, hardware, internet connectivity, and third-party infrastructure. Delays, outages, platform errors, data-feed issues, and local network instability may affect platform behavior and account outcomes.
5. Market Access and Conditions
Simulated market conditions may differ from live markets, including liquidity behavior, fill dynamics, and event-driven volatility. Comparability between simulated and live performance is inherently limited.
6. No Guarantee of Future Performance
Past performance in simulation is not indicative of future results in live trading. Successful challenge performance does not guarantee future profitability.
7. Day Trading Is High Risk
Day trading can result in rapid and substantial losses. It may not be appropriate for individuals with limited capital, limited experience, or low risk tolerance.
8. Caution Regarding Profit Claims
Be cautious of statements suggesting easy or consistent profits. Market conditions can change quickly, and trading outcomes can vary significantly.
9. Knowledge, Execution, and Cost Considerations
- Effective trading generally requires substantial market knowledge and disciplined risk management.
- Execution quality may be affected by volatility, slippage, and technical constraints.
- Commissions, fees, and friction costs can materially impact net performance.
10. Margin and Leverage Risk
In live-market contexts, margin and leverage can magnify losses and may result in losses exceeding initial capital. Tradesera simulated outcomes should not be interpreted as a substitute for live-risk capital planning.
11. Regulatory and Legal Responsibilities
Depending on your activities, jurisdiction, and business model, registration or regulatory obligations may apply under federal, state, or international law. You are solely responsible for your legal and compliance obligations.
12. User Acknowledgment
By using Tradesera services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Risk Disclosure Statement and the risks associated with simulated trading and potential transition to live-market activity.
